Nestled in the serene mountains on the Aragon-Valencia border, La Barbacana is a hidden gem that effortlessly blends comfort and charm. Our host was delightful, guiding us through lovely hiking paths nearby, though a bit of translation fun was involved since the language barrier was present-nothing a supportive companion can't help with! The spacious rooms offered stunning mountain views and cozy vibes, making it an ideal retreat after a day of exploring. And breakfast on the terrace? Simply divine, paired with a refreshing drink from the bar while soaking in the tranquility of the landscape. We were so enchanted here that we extended our stay! If peace, scenic walks, and the taste of typical Spanish village life resonate with you, La Barbacana is definitely worth considering for an unforgettable stay.
